This year, our school is celebrating the wonderful earth that we live on. World Earth Day encourages us to think about the impact that we have on our planet. As part of the Paris Agreement, we need to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by mid-century to keep the global temperature below 1.5°C.
Pupils have been learning about the importance of investing in our planet by our actions for the future. We have been investigating the effects of pollution, global warming, green houses gases and deforestation of our rainforests through research and investigations to help us gain a better understanding of this issue.
