Today, we met the official mascot of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Perry the multi-coloured bull.
Perry explained that the Games are for everyone across the 72 countries and territories of the Commonwealth. As the host city, Birmingham is perfectly positioned to attract people to the Games and to ensure that the benefits of hosting extend from the city and region, to the UK and the Commonwealth.
During the assembly, Perry demonstrated his love of sport and entertained us with his cheeky antics.
