World Science Day takes place on 10th November. It was started as a way of opening up the world of scientific research and discovery to engage everybody in scientific issues and developments.
Science is all around us and part of our everyday lives. To promote this, each class has researched different scientists and the contribution that they have made to our planet. World Science Day is about how scientists cooperate within their field to make a peaceful and sustainable impact on our world. It has encouraged us to think about ways in which we can make a positive contribution to help others.
