Today, we received an exciting visit from the children’s author Sam Copeland. He explained what initially inspired him to become an author and discussed his love of animals which he has chosen to include in his stories.
The first book, ‘Charlie Changes into a Chicken’ was released it 2019, it tells the story of a boy who when he becomes anxious, can change into all sorts of animals but cannot decide on which one.
Next, we played a quiz to explore some of the facts from the latest book, ‘Uma and the Answer to Everything’, in which Uma Gnudersonn has a head full of questions.
Before he left Sam signed copies of his books that we are currently reading in school and at home.
