Year 3 continued their journey of faith as they received the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist for the first time in front of their families. Through prayer and discussion, the children came to realise that every Mass is a celebration of Jesus’ death and resurrection. During the Mass, Year 3 beautifully sang their song ‘Meet Me Here’.
Then, on Friday, the children from Year 3 led a Thanksgiving Mass for the whole school where Fr. Mathew presented children with their certificates and later the children enjoyed a special breakfast at school.
We thank all those who have supported us in preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.
