Event - Year 3 Alton Castle Retreat

15 April 2016

The children of Year 3 visited Alton Castle for a retreat to help prepare them for receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.

The children participated in team building games, which emphasised the point that working together makes things easier than going it alone. Together we went through some Scripture and the Castle team members shared their own experiences of receiving the Sacraments.

The children also visited the Holy Door and prayed together in Church.

hroughout the day the children were given time for meditation and reflection, helping them to see God in the world around them. A great time was had by all.
