"A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees." - Amelia Earhart

During Anti-bullying Week, School Council have decided to be beacons of kindness amongst their peers. They prepared a pack to share with their class. This included posters, certificates and activities. In addition, each class were issued with ‘Caught You Being Kind’ vouchers, to be given to pupils when they demonstrated a small act of kindness.

Throughout the week, it was uplifting to see so many children displaying many acts of genuine kindness. Each class placed their completed kindness vouchers on the prayer table. At the end of the week, we joined a virtual anti-bullying workshop led by AVFC. Each child made a pledge to tackle bullying, and then used their ideas to create a colourful ‘Wall of Kindness’.

"Three things in human life are important: The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. The third is to be kind." - St Teresa of Calcutta
