Event - Lent and Holy Week

2 to 13 April 2017

We have had a busy half term raising money for our Lent charities.

On 2nd April we dressed up for World book day and donated £1.

A representative from Fr Hudson's explained how the charity helps people during assembly on 13th April, then in the following weeks we donated coins into the Fr Hudson's boxes.

On Monday 3rd April, the whole school took part in a sponsored walk around the local area, luckily we had a glorious sunny day and everyone completed the walk. Thank you to all the family members who sponsored the children.

During our last assembly on Thursday 13th April, certificates were issued to the children across the school with an excellent attendance record. Well done!

This term's house point winners goes to St Cecilia, who were allowed to wear their own clothes and nursery class are the overall attendance winners, they have enjoyed a teddy bear picnic as a special treat.

Congratulations to the children who won a chocolate treat in the Easter raffle. Wishing everyone in our school community a happy and Holy Easter holiday.
