Event - KS1 Nativity: The Sleepy Stargazer

13 December 2018

A young girl called Esther Stargazer is very tired because she stays up all night gazing at the stars. She thinks stars are amazing. However, it means she does not sleep at night and is always falling asleep in the day.

Up on the hillside some shepherds, who were guarding their sheep, ask Esther to help, until she sees a very special star that they decide to follow.

The children sang songs whilst signing and others played instruments. It was a great opportunity to remember the true meaning of Christmas.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11

Can you help us to count our sheep?
Mary and Joseph had to travel to Bethlehem.

Wow, that star is huge! … And it's moving. I'm going to follow it!
We have gifts for the baby.

Come and meet baby Jesus.
A King has been born.
